Disc plugs are metal plates with an original sewer pipe band from Lansas. These disc plugs are suitable for one diameter and available with a single or double strap. For long-term sewer shut-offs or if people need to work safely behind a sewer valve, the Disc plugs are a safe choice.
Disc plugs are also available for egg-shaped or relined pipes.

Disc plugs are available in round and egg-shaped models. The standard material of these sewer valves is aluminum, steel is also possible and available on request. These disc plugs are equipped with a double-reinforced original Lansas sewer pipe. The maximum filling pressure is 6 bar.
From diameter 700 mm, the disc plugs are available in divisible execution (2, 3, or 4 parts).
Our disc plugs are suitable for testing new or renovated sewers according to DIN EN1610 (available on request)
ATTENTION: Disc plugs that are subject to back pressure must always be well supported! From a back pressure of 0.3 bar or when people have to work in the pipe behind the plug, propping up is vital!
It is increasingly common for a sewer pipe (relining) to have to be closed. Standard solutions such as balloon pipe plugs and flexible pipe plugs are always a suitable solution in this case. But if people have to work behind the pipe plug, a balloon pipe plug can lead to dangerous situations. In these cases a disc plug or BERAT, if properly supported, is a safe solution.
